Fire Safety Risk Assessment, Workplace Fire Safety Services and Fire Safety Legislation and Regulations Compliance
As a key part of our occupational health division, Lancall are able to undertake a wide range of workplace fire safety services. We are able to boast a team of qualified fire safety consultants that can assist your business with a comprehensive fire safety risk assessment ensuring that you comply with current fire safety legislation and regulations.
On the 1st October 2006 the Regulatory Reform (Fire & Safety) order, came into force changing fire safety in the UK. This replaced or amended all previous fire regulations and laws - fire certificates are now a thing of the past and will need to be replaced with an up to date fire risk assessment.
It is important to understand that fire safety assessment is not the same as a fire certificate. Every business owner and employer must:
- Assess the fire risk in their workplace
- Check that fires can be detected and people can be warned in enough time to leave safely
- Check that there is a safe means for leaving the building
- Provide and maintain fire fighting equipment
- Instruct their employees on what to do in event of a fire
As a part of our fire safety services, Lancall Limited will visit your premises and our fire safety consultants will provide you with a comprehensive fire safety risk assessment. Crucially we won't just advise you, we'll implement the changes for you ensuring you comply with current workplace fire safety legislation.
